I have a question if someone could help. I have Super Mario Allstars for the SNES and whenever I get really far in Super Mario World, like around 90 some percent or so and don't play it for awhile, I'll start the game up again to find that the game is completely gone.....does this have something to do with the save function on the cartridge, cause I hear about games having cartridge battery saves but never understood the meaning of that.

I'd have to guess the battery is dead. It's weird that the NES Zelda cartridge I have still has a working battery, but I keep hearing about SNES cartridge batteries dieing. Must depend on the situation. At any rate, I'd bet it would be easier for you to pick up a new copy if you want it working than it woud be for you to try to fix the one you have, dead battery or not.
