See this part where you say stupid stuff? Memorize it, then learn to avoid it. Trust me, I'll bother to respond to what you say when your post isn't retarded.
I don't think there is anything retarded in saying that there is a difference with being a purist and a big fan.
Yeah, except I didn't say anything that would make it important to make that distinction. Here's my post:
Why are you looking forward to what will likely be the worst comic book movie ever? The obviuosness of that is made certain by the previews which make the movie look as appealing as having your soul ripped out through your testicles. I feel it more strongly than most, as he is my favorite Marvel super hero.
There's nothing there implying anything about me being a purist. I said I think it looks sucky. You jumped on the purist vs. fan debate because I guess that helped you win arguements with drunken people before or something, but it certainly had no reason to be mentioned in this particular exchange. I said it looked sucky and right away you jumped into a standby debate you have on hand rather than reading what I actually said. Perhaps retarded is a strong word, but you certainly showed very little thought, and what thought there was was wrong. I mean, you'd rather call me a liar and claim I was a purist than ask the simple question of why I think it looks sucky. That's some inflexable thinking. In any case, I'm done with this discussion, as your two jumps in logic prove you won't exactly be open to other opinions on this particular topic.

No way. Batman Begins blew all the lame Batman films out the water.
Amen to that. Though I think the last reply was actually saying he can't recomend them to someone who doesn't like dark movies, not that they were bad. Batman Begins, Batman, and, to a lesser extent, Batman Returns are good movies. Batman Forever and Batman and Robin are so bad they can actually give you leprosy.

My favorite Batman film was still the first Michael Keaton version. I thought Christian Bale overacted a little bit with his voice when he was Batman and I felt they didn't show enough of the fight seens. I loved Batman Begins though don't get me wrong. I also liked Michael Keatons vehicles alot better.

I agree with the voice but not the fights. Remeber, in the comics, Batman largely beats people before they even know where he is. The fights should be dark and quick. I also, however, agree on the cars. The Hummer thing was alright, but the Batmobile from Batman and Batman Returns defined awesome.

I completely agree. What was up with the tank in Batman Begins. Plus, I hate origins movies. The scene in Batman Returns where he blows up the guy with the dynamite (along with a little grin) was the coolest thing ever; I hated how there were no fight scenes in the new one.

He fought Ra's Al-Ghul at the beginning if you remember, and a whole host of Ninjas. And he fought Ra's Al-Ghul again at the end.
On another line of thought, I was glad that they left out all that mystical BS about Ra's Al-Ghul and made him into an evil idealist Ninja.

I loved the Hummvee, SOO much more aggressive. I am also a huge Christian Bale fan. The man's voice and demeaner is just so edgy (I'm still majorly annoyed I missed out on Harsh Times at the cinema). And Liam Neeson was just perfect, not to mention Cillian Murphy. In this film for once a Batman actually had scary badguys. In this film Batman just seemed so much more of a badass. Of course then it had Katie Holmes who can't act for ****
