1) Rail Chase for the Atari 2600. With a name like that, you'd think it was a game about racing trains or some other vehicle. But no, it's just a re-named version of Lock n Chase. And since the title really has nothing to do with the game (I don't think it does anyway), that makes it lame.
2) Laser Volley for the Atari 2600. Which like Rail Chase, is just a re-named version of a pre-existing game. And in this case, the game is Laser Gates, which was developed and released by Imagic in 1983. Now, as far as i know, this repacked version was put out by Zellers sometime in the mid to late 80's. And like Sears when they used to repackage and re-release pre-existing 2600 games in their department stores in the late 70's and early 80's, Zellers just had to tack a really lame, unimaginative title onto it as well as some other games they reissued. The game itself is an okay, if somewhat generic shooter. But that title is just terrible on so many levels.

Re: Bad game names
While putting together my list I noticed there's a fine line between clever and stupid.
For example, these four might just quality for the BEST name list:
Communist Mutants from Space
Quest for the Shaven Yak Starring Ren and Stimpy
Zombie ate my neighbors
Spanky's Quest
