Shocking Content?

I was emailed by Google Ads informing me of a policy violation for the terms of their ads!
I looked into it and apparently this page was tagged for "shocking content"!

https://videogamecritic.com/extras/them ... oween5.htm

Can someone please explain to me what is so shocking about this page?
I requested a review from Google.
I suspect this was the result of one of their algorithms gone wild.

They’re probably referring to your totally wrong review of Bloodborne. Shocking indeed.

Maybe it's the D grade for Bloodborne.

I think it's the D- for Silent Hill: Shattered Memories... such a great game!

Google has confirmed my page is NON-COMPLIANT. This is why you don't want one company in charge of the whole internet.

Shocking Content
As stated in our program policies, Google ads may not be placed on pages that display shocking content. This includes but is not limited to:

Content containing gruesome, graphic or disgusting accounts or imagery (e.g. blood, guts, gore, sexual fluids, human or animal waste, crime scene or accident photos)

Content depicting acts of violence (e.g. accounts or images of shootings, explosions, or bombings; execution videos; violent acts committed against animals)

Content with significant obscene or profane language (swear or curse words)

In all fairness critic your page in the link is showing graphics of severed limbs, blood and guts. This is perfectly in line with the rules that Google outlined above.

To us it's not shocking, but they are pretty clear in their rules.

I know you try hard to keep this site family friendly so this is ridiculous. Do the big review sites such as IGN and Gamespot get this crap from Google?
