I think right now people just don't have the extra cash to buy a Wii or a PS3 b/c the holidays just wrapped up. I saw a PS3 in a Gamestop a few days ago and passed b/c I just spent a boat load on the holidays.

ive yet to see a wii on any store shelf. PS3s can be found pretty much anywhere, the high price points are keeping average and casual gamers away
Shawn I think not a lot of people really want one as their primary system. There was an article in the Montreal Gazette about people returning PS3's because they failed to sell them for a profit on eBay. One store was reported to have en just lying around. Curious I checked out an auction for a PS3. The sellers made a big story in the description on how the profit would help fund a $10000 wedding ring. They even said the winner would be invited to the wedding. Furthermore bid $1100 US + and you get three free games. The winning bid was $652CAD. They lost $100CAD plus eBay fees. I believe people are waiting for the PS3 to get its act together before taking the plunge.

how was the 8mb memory card wimpy? I own like 50 games and have never needed another one. I mean I axe the oldest ones but it's never been a problem.

C'mon, of course if you keep deleting games you're never gonna run out of room! Give me a break.
It's holds like 30 or more games so that's fine with me. It's not like I'm going to play code veronica again anyway.

No it doesn't, mine can't even hold 20 game saves and 95% of my PS2 collection are classic gaming collections and racers (Things with small save files).

Err racers tend to have quite large save files.

Not really unless you're saving things like replays, ghost cars, paintschemes, and setups and such.

Actually yes. On Dreamcast Sega Rally 2 was one of my bigger saves without ghosts. Colin Mcrae 2 took 3 save slots on PS1. A lot of racing games save TONS of stats.

I currently have 45 or 48 saves on my memory card with room to spair. The memory cards are great, and nwo they have nice big hard drives in their systems. Lets keep the bashing of sony to things they actually did wrong.
