Should I get a Virtual Boy?

Postby Roperious1 » January 6th, 2007, 8:03 pm

I dust mine off once in a while. Honestly if you've got several games that you want for other consoles put them before this purchase for sure.

On a semi-related note, i brought my virtual boy to my overnight wait at Wal-mart for the Wii. I definatly turned some heads while i was playing mario tennis. (my ds was also present naturally)

Should I get a Virtual Boy?
Does that $100 include the shipping costs?  I browsed through the listings on ebay and kinda figured that $99.95 is a bit of an inflated price, but I am thinking about getting it if only because it comes with a neat case.  It doesn't sound like a big deal, but I don't know if you could find one anywhere else.  It's a sturdy case made specifically for the virtual boy.  It's basically the kind of case that video stores use for their systems.
It did. It wasn't a single package though. About 8 games came with it, and then I got the other ones separately. It may take some looking around, but I think you could find a better deal. I don't know what kind of case you're talking about, but you don't need one. The Virtual Boyu is not at all portable; find somewhere to put it and leave it there.

I never really had any intentions of taking it anywhere.  I just thought it would be nice to have a case to put it in when I wasn't using it rather than just having it lay around.  It's a moot point anyway because I've decided not to get one for now.  Maybe sometime down the road after I get a Wii.
