Earthworm Jim is back, baby! A new game has been announced exclusively for the Intellivision Amico and it's bringing back the most of the entire team. The main guys always expressed interest and this project has been discussed on and off and few ideas were spread around by the developers, like making Jim a fat bum getting out of retirement to having him be a second player in the cancelled Boogerman sequel. Questions were even raised once Interplay was selling off the the rights. but now the sequel came to fruition.

Yeah I was just reading about this.

Hate to be a buzzkill, but this system is missing something: a cartridge slot. If this is just going to be another download machine, I have to believe it will suffer the same fate as the Ouya. Tommy had a chance to appeal to collectors, but looks like he dropped the ball.

Tommy actually confirmed there will be physical media for the system in the comment section of this Youtube video right here (see highlighted comment.) So there is a possibility it will have a cartridge slot or something of the sorts, or maybe it will be like those awful boxes with nothing but codes inside them. IDK, it's probably worth waiting to see.

I hope you're right Lion!

Some people may think physical media is antiquated, but have you noticed the Switch version of a game typically sells two or three times better than the PS4/Xbox One versions? I think it's because people like those little carts.

I love Earthworm Jim, but I do not have high hopes for this.
