[QUOTE=bluemonkey]Shawn my minimum week is 40 hours. That is the least number of hours I have worked in my whole life and I am loving it. For the past 11 years I worked nearly every evening and day. When I was at uni I never had a day off work apart from two over xmas and one on my birthday from october through to june. This year I spent a month where I worked 91 hour weeks for 5 weeks straight and that doesn't include travelling or anything where I revised in my head. While at uni I barely ever had more than 2 hours freetime a day. But feel free to steroetype a whole continent.

40+ can be a lot if you have other direct responsibilities. Family alone can be one of the most harrowing.
My work week comes out between 70 and 90 hours a week (thankfully, it's rarely 90). That's as much as I can stand to be honest without breaking down. But if I had a family like so many of my friends do, I'd never be able to pull it off. I'd have to cut it off at 50 at the most, and try to average it in at 45. Kids and family in general are quite demanding.
