Did the thought they aren't heroes strike you at any time? You start off in a PRISON CELL, that's one heroic man right there. They are protaganists not heroes, it's that simple. And anyone I know who's been in the army says swearing is like an art there.

I certainly didn't mind the swearing in GOW...it seemed like every other word out of Fenix's mouth was Bullsh**...or sometimes he would throw a curveball and just say sh**...
All kidding aside, its a futuristic game based on a military unit...I fully expected the cursing to be there before I even played it.
My only gripe is that when they could have been writing better dialouge they seem to just throw in swear words. There are other ways to convey, anger, danger, fear...well emotions in general.
Like I said it really didn't bother me though because it fit in with the theme of the game. I guess if I saw a locust in real life my first words would be, "Oh, sh**!"

Microsoft clearly wanted it for their XBOX, yet the game came out with a few parts censored.

Yeah, that seemed weird to me, too, espeically when you consider that the game came out on Xbox the same month that perhaps the most boundary pushing game also hit Microsoft's machine (and completely uncensored, to boot): GTA San Andreas.
Oh, and as far as a truly Mature game in regards to substance, I thought that Indigo Prophecy did it better than most other games out there (although I certainly agree that KOTOR was very effective).

KOTOR had some of the best story-driven dialog that I've ever seen in a game. I loved those stories that Jolee Bindo told about his past in the Jedi order, especially the one about the young guy who the force was swirling around so much that Jolee knew he had a powerful destiny that would change the galaxy forever. I cracked up when he revealed just what that destiny was.
I also loved HK-47's stories about how he accidentally killed all his masters (except one).
It takes a lot for me to play an RPG to completion once, let alone the 20 or so times I did KOTOR. I lament that it might be the only time I'll really get into one for a while yet. Hopefully, Mass Effect will change my mind on that.

I told in my review of controversial games of the Hot Coffee mod. That was on the PC, PS2 and Xbox, but it was hacked somehow. Nintendo may want to bring GTA to the Wii because of the more Teen rated and soon Mature rated games the system has. It was obvious that Rare wanted to make a friendly game of Conker at first and then made it adult like. Microsoft purchased Rare and any old games Nintendo had from Rare went to Microsoft. Acclaim made an BMX game for the Gamecube, Xbox, and Playstation 2. Originally it was going to be one of those good titles and then Acclaim puts topless women in it. That did not do well. It comes to sure that Nintendo is having more mature titles for the Wii now.

I'm assuming you mean ADD (attention deficit disorder), not OCD (obsessive compulsive disorder). He does seem to go from one topic to the next without any sort of logical flow.
Bartman, I'm not going to say you have ADD (maybe you do, nothing wrong with that), but try to read over your posts before posting them. I can't make much sense of what you write either.
