It is for no reason to have competition. Competition is fun. You get to review which game version is good or bad. For Electronic Arts, they obviously want no competition and support the good systems. EA never supported the Dreamcast. They favored the stupid Playstation 2. They ruined Sega's NFL 2K series and other series. EA has control of making NFL games now. It seems that there are little updates for all of their games for no reason. Electronic Arts dont care about competition. They have too many licenses that make little updates for their games. They work mainly with Sony

Hey, we all make grammatical blunders here and there (re-reading my posts is usually pretty good for some humble pie), but the OP was pretty unintentionally hilarious.

I have to ask, and if I'm wrong here, I apologize (realizing that many intelligent people simply struggle with writing). Is english a second language for you Bartman? Again, I apologize if I'm wrong here, but your posts seem to have an "accent" to them.

I can get the main gist of what you're saying.  I know that EA is one of the most hated game companies for some of their tactics, and I can't say I blame them.

What makes me most angry is the fact that they've recently been lazily slapping together their sports titles (especially on the Xbox 360) and no one seems willing to call them on it (nor do the consumers take them to task for it). 

Also, I personally believe that EA, like many Japanese companies, has it in for Microsoft.  For example, they cancelled NBA Live 07 on the PS3 because they were "concerned about the quality of the game and the integrity of the series." Yet that didn't stop them from putting the game out on the 360, were it got the worst reviews of any sports game in 2006.

So, yes, I can understand people's hatred of EA and hopefully, I expressed  my personal problems with them clearly. 

I'll never "autobuy" Madden again after the 2006 360 game. I only bought Wii Madden because it proved itself with plenty of solid reviews.

I was dissapointed with 360 Madden because 1. they didn't put in the full feature list from the Xbox version (they've have two tries to get it right), they made ranked online games 4 minutes (which translates to over an hour per game, which is a bit too much for me, it used to be 3 minutes). Plus, the superstar mode is overrated at best.

What I am trying to do is say that I hate EA. The company is probably gonna slack off in it's licensed sports games. Now, the NFL: Sega had a good series of football with NFL 2K and it was beating Madden. Midway makes Blitz: The League and it is very violent. EA responds by making a deal to be the only company to make NFL video games. It all started because of EA's no support of the Dreamcast in favor of the PS2. That was the reason for NFL 2K being created and it had stopped making games since 2005. The NBA: 2K7 should be the winner. It does a superb job of making it look like a real game. Live 07 should be running out of ideas. NHL: I dont know. I say the 16-bit era rocked with sports games. 32-bit well, there plenty of sports for the PS1 and N64 but some got some great gaming. EA dont want anyone to compete with them with their licensing. I say there should be fair competition.
