Well the first thing that impressed me with this game is that when I saw video of it playing I didn't think man this looks like a cube game. I love Mario and I didn't like that they game Mario a gimiky water gun in the gamecube version. The use of the Wiimote to do actions on screen instead of controlling Mario look interseting and I want to see Mario do a resurgence. What games do you like mozart top 3 that you find more impresive than Mario Galaxy and what makes them stand out to you?

Actually, that's a surprisingly good explanation, considering. I also didn't like Super Mario Sunshine -- at all.
My most anticipated games:
The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass (DS) -- I am looking forward to a game that is controlled entirely by the stylus. It actually looks quite intuitive. It will also be nice to return to Wind Waker graphics.
Metroid Prime 3: Corruption (Wii) -- It's a game that definitely doesn't look like the Gamecube. It looks like a game that could never have been done on the Gamecube. Additionally, I think it will be the best single example of an FPS control scheme on the Wii. Metroid Prime 1 and 2 weren't really FPS, but Metriod Prime Hunters was and was surprisingly intuitive for an FPS. I think Metroid Prime 3 will be a combination of an FPS using the Wiimote control scheme, yet with all the great gameplay from Metroid Prime 1 and 2.
Mass Effect (XBOX 360) -- The graphics look astounding, but that's not the reason for me. It could look as pitiful as KOTOR and I'd still love it if it had gameplay of the same deep and polished variety that KOTOR provided. And it very much looks like it will at this point.
Silent Hill 0rigins (PSP) -- Finally a game on the PSP that I am interested in. I am looking forward to (hopefully) seeing the events that led up to the town of Silent Hill going into purgatory before the first game. It looks great, has a unique control scheme, etc.
There are others, but that's it for now.
