Can the Nintendo Switch emulate the Nokia N-Gage hardware?

Postby Sonicx9 » June 18th, 2019, 7:17 pm

Inspired by a old topic: https://videogamecritic.com/forums/view ... ardware%3F, but this time it another ill-fated handheld console the Nokia N-Gage, I ask because both the Nintendo Switch and Nokia N-Gage use ARM CPU architecture which = easy Nintendo Switch Virtual Console emulation/Nintendo Switch Online app like the NES games, but the question is will Nokia (the owner of the N-Gage ip.) let Nintendo have access to their system ip for use with the Nintendo Switch online service. Also what games are likely to make the cut besides Nokia original ip games. examples Gameloft was a big supporter and has done recent Switch development and can bring over the following: Asphalt Urban GT 1 and 2, Marcel Desailly Pro Soccer, Rayman 3 along with Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon: Jungle Storm and the 2 Splinter Cell games with Ubisoft license, Bomberman from Konami (owns Hudson ips), Call of Duty and Crash Nitro Kart from Activision (unlikely for the former considering Activision has yet to bring the series on Switch), Catan from Capcom (Capcom is a decent suporter on Switch and this game has never been re-released anywhere else.), Colin McRae Rally 2005 from Codemasters The Elder Scrolls Travels: Shadowkey from Bethesda Softworks, The two FIFA games. NCAA Football 2004, The Sims Bustin' Out, SSX Out of Bounds all from EA, (unlikely considering EA is not a strong Switch support with a upcoming thread rant on them later for Switch.), Pandemonium!, Tomb Raider, and Puzzle Bobble VS from Square Enix (owns Taito and Eidos ips), Pocket Kingdom: Own the World, Puyo Pop, Sega Rally Championship, SonicN, Super Monkey Ball, and Virtua Tennis all from Sega. Red Faction from THQ Nordic, Worms World Party from Team17, and Xanadu Next from Nihon Falcom.
