Best retro co-op games to play with kids?

We downloaded Turtles in Time to my brother’s SNES classic and it was as fun as ever. One of those that is challenging yet easy enough for the older player to “carry” the younger one if needed.

Mario Wii in multiplayer is good. If the younger player can’t get past a part, just hit the A button to float along the other player.

At times, I’m tempted to pick up the 1up arcade version when it comes out later this year.
