Frustrating games?

So what was the most frustating game you've played, or frustrating PART of a game?
I hate it when you are playing a good game and run into a puzzle or puzzles that must be solved bt trial and error, no hints or clues, just try all combinations overnovernover 'till you get one that works. On Super Princess Peach (A game I otherwise love) there are two such puzzles in the ghost house level (I've NEVER liked ghost houses in Mario games-@#$%!)... first you must rescue a toad by lighting torches, but then are stuck with no way to get the torches out! (WHAT, you mean water or wind won't work? That is stupid!) ...worse, at the end of 3-4 there are a bunch of doors you must get through, 3 doors each. Final combination was something like 2-3-3-2-1, which makes absolutly NO sense, especially since going back through MOST doors you just came through takes you BACK not forward! Same thing happened in the otherwise Excellent Revenge Of Shinobi on Genesis, the door maze at the end, no pattern at all! I could see if it was 1-2-3-1, or 1-1-2-2, etc.... but a RANDOM pattern? Good thing there were only 3 doors on 5 levels, it could have been worse! Note I still like these games, there was just that part that got frustrating... many SMB games had that too, as I said, especially in castles or Ghost Houses.
Ok, others? Could just be part of a game you like or a whole game. (looking back, the old Gateway To Apshai never made sense to me...and Yoshi's Island!)
