Okay, I know I've had trouble crying wolf on the first two bosses of this game, then beating them, but at least THE TIPS MADE SENSE -I KNEW WHAT I WAS SUPPOSED TO DO! On the Shreik Mansion (third level) boss, I am totally stuck! It says "...ghosts are afraid of light! I bet if you break the CHANDELEIR!...) okay no sweat, except I BROKE THE @#$%^! CHANDELEIR over and over like ten times and the ghost does not even flinch! Please, there is no SPP beaters guide and I cannot get Gamefaq. com, so if anyone has beat this guy TELL ME HOW!

Thank you!

SPP is Super Princess Peach for the DS.

Alienblue, you should know better about using acronyms around here. They are my nemesis.

AB, have someone copy and paste a walkthrough, and send it to you in a file, like Word, you can read on your comp.

I can't from this comp, or I'd put you out of your misery.

Sorry VIDEOGAMECRITIC, I thought I had used the whole word at least once, but I didn't. Of course I meant SUPER PRINCESS PEACH. I only need to know how to beat the ghost boss. There were areas in the rest of the game that were frustrating but made SENSE and I got through them. I posted another request though the answer I got was CON.VO.LUTED...dunno if I'll ever beat SUPER PRINCESS PEACH, may have to go back to SMW...oops I mean SUPER MARIO, WHAT!?

CONVOLUTED?!?  I thought her explanation was great.  Shame on you!

Seriously though, here's some posts from several FAQs:

C. KING BOO
World : 3-6 Shriek Mansion
Difficulty : Easy
Attacks : Flame Protector; Crybaby
Description : King Boo returns after his appearances in Luigi’s Mansion, Mario
Sunshine, Mario Kart Double Dash, and Super Mario 64 DS.  He’s a giant ghost
with a crown on his head.

King Boo is actually quite easy.  As soon as you enter the room, you’ll see
three Boo’s hovering around a poor Toad.  They’ll merge into King Boo, who will
proceed to attack you.  He’ll call on some flames to circle around him.
Immediately find which candle is not lit and light it using RAGE.  This will
cause King Boo to lose an HP.  Keep finding the candles that aren’t lit and
he’ll be finished in no time.  Once he’s down to 2 HP, he’ll start bawling like
a baby.  Watch out for his tears, because he’ll still race after you.  The main
thing to keep in mind is that he hurts you if you touch him, so DON’T TOUCH
HIM.  Just keep lighting those candles and dodge his flames and you’ll destroy
him.

Repeatedly rub the stylus on the Boos as they try to attack Peach, who is
floating down towards the touch screen. Too easy.

This battle can be a bit long, but it's pretty easy. Your foe is King Boo.

At first, simply avoid the king. After a while, he will shoot three blue flames
that will slowly home in on you. Lure the flames to the four lanterns. Light
them all and you will damage King Boo. You can also use Rage to light them.

Strike the chandelier to make it swing. Hit it again to drop a crystal. The
chandelier will respawn after a while, so utilize it when you need a refill.

After three hits, the premise is pretty much the same; light all four lanterns.
The difference now is that King Boo is constantly crying, and he will put out
the lanterns as you light them. This is the time you must rely on Rage and not
the blue fire King Boo sends to light the lanterns. Pick a side and Rage the
bottom lantern. Use the trampoline to light the other one. Turn Rage off and
wait for King Boo to get near you. His tears, amazingly enough, will not reach
the ground if he's elevated enough. When he gets near you, Floatbrella over him
and light the other two. Fill the Vibe Gauge and repeat once more for victory.

Perry dreams again... it's all starting to come back. Too bad Perry wants to go
kill bad guys more than dream! Area 4's right around the corner!

*** BOSS: KING OF THE BOOS ***

The King Of The Boos will follow you around and spit out fire balls to hurt
you. If you need to fill your emotion meter, destroy the chandelier in the
middle of the area.

To defeat this boss simply light the lanterns that aren't already lit with
fire. For the King Of The Boos' first piece of health you just need to light
one lantern. For his second piece of health you need to light two lanterns. For
his third piece of health you need to light three lanterns.

For the King Of The Boos' fourth piece of health you need to light all four
lanterns. This time, however he will be crying which can extinguish your
lantern's flames. Repeat this process to defeat him.
No problem.  I'll tell her she did a good job.  Kids get a kick out of thinking they helped adults on games.  I have my godson convinced that if it weren't for him, I would never be able to get out of Zelda alive.
