a, as far as I know you are the biggest Super Princess Peach lover on here next to me! And you know about needing the toads to get in the castle so YOU MUST KNOW THIS!
HOW, for heaven's sake, do you beat the BIG BOO at the end of Shriek mansion? The tip block says to break the chandelier... I have jumped on, smacked, and busted that @#$%! Chandelier 12 times before being killed, NO EFFECT!
Is it the lights from the statues? Can you put them out and if so HOWWWW!? HELLLLLLP! (I've also tried every emotion power and NOTHING WORKS! I am realllly about to give up and go back and play in Super Mario World!)

Alright, my godson's sister let you down with her convoluted answer. Oh well. I posted some solutions DIRECTLY from FAQs on Gamespot on your original thread. There are three of them, so I am sure one of them will not be convoluted enough to be useless. So go here for that reply to your original thread.

Just in case I'll give it to you directly. Use the blue flames to light the 4 torches Alienblue (bottom left, bottom right, upper left, upper right). Just have them track you to the torches. I belive the Big Boo attacks you with them as well, so you don't necessarily need to break the chandelier. When you get it down to two hits, it will start to burn out the candles so you should get the top two first, then be really careful to get the bottom 2 without the Boo burning one out first.

One more question on that stage, if I am to get all toads: I bypassed this puzzle, but: There is a room with three turtle torch statues and a locked door. To free Toad you must light all statues, right? Right. Except...once you light them you cannot UNLIGHT them and are stuck there! I tried water, wind, more flame, nothing works. How do you get out of this room once you've saved the toad?
Thanks again! It was BOOOOtiful!

[QUOTE=Alienblue]ALLRIGHT! I BEAT KING BOO! Thank You both for the tips! I followed your directions exactly and beat him first try! It was the lamp lighting that was confusing me.

I can't really remember the room you're talking about, but now that you've beaten the level you can just save the toad then leave. If you quit a level you keep any item you found in it.

a: Nope. Still can't get the toad because once you enter that room you are STUCK there. It is like 3-2 or 3-3. In the middle of where a ghost with a fishing thing chases you. There is a locked door; to unlock it light the statues; then it takes you to TOAD, but THEN you are stuck in a loop.
No biggie as I said, if I don't save every Toad-just curious.

I have another stickie. Very first lava world, second level this awful wind storm YOU CANT SEE depletes your energy. Tip block sez to use "whirlwind" (?) ... so I keep punching "Happy-fly" or "Mad-flame" and it HELPS but not enough, I die right about at the end of the level. No hearts to restore energy either.
Any tips on beating "THE FOG!"?

In Mario games, you get various powers(via suits), but they're very temporary and you can only have one at a time.
But in SPP, you have all of your powers, on a permanent basis, and you can switch between them at will. This is such a fantastic concept, but the game never really takes advantage of it. I just wish for better level designs, with multiple secrets, multiple paths, etc, something to really take advantage of your powers, for a sense of exploration.
I'm not saying that SPP is bad, it just alot of wasted potentional.
I swear on a stack of bibles..........Yoshi Island DS sucks monkey nuts, DO NOT buy that one!
New Super Mario Bros........good
Super Princess Peach............okay
Yoshi Island DS............bad

[QUOTE=Alienblue]Hoo boy...SPP stands for SUPER PATHETIC GAMER I think.

You probably need to spin longer. Just hit the fly button once, but don't fly, leave Peach on the ground and she'll be a tornado. If you fly it won't clear the fog. Once the screen clears up move on, and spin again if more fog appears. I'll go back and check on that other Toad sometime. If you have any questions about Toads or anything feel free to ask.
Bonus tip: get the powerup that gets money when you hit enemies once you can (it costs a lot). Come back to me when you get it and I'll tell you a stage with a bunch of Koopas that net easy money.
