[QUOTE=Alienblue]a: thanks for the advice but how can I know when to use my power if I can't SEE the wind? Is there some subtle timing, visual, or audio clue I'm missing (I AM hard of hearing...)?

If you're in the part I think you're in you can see what's damaging you. It's not wind, it's fog. When you do the tornado long enough the screen becomes clearer (it's brown until you clear it).

Do you have to "flame ON!" ALL the statue/peirs to topple him? How do you recharge? Where is the "weakspot"...I toppled him once and got him but didn't see where. I figured it would be the Catterpillars NOSE but no nose!
A 5 year old could do this so FIND A FIVE YEAR OLD AND ASK!
Any tips guys? Thanks!
P.S. how many more levels to my "end", the castle?

Use the flame power to lower one of the springs on either side. You don't have to keep standing on it, just use the power once to lower it then get off (and turn off the power). You need to time this so Wiggler walks over the spring when it goes off. The weak spot on wiggler is just a random part of its body. When it is flipped it will be blue. You just need to jump on the weakspot. When you get it down to two hits the fog comes again so you need to use the wind power like you did in the first level of the world. Wiggler will also turn red and run back and forth causing rocks to fall down; the rocks contain crystals to refill the vibe power. Once wiggler calms down just hit it the same way as the first time.

I normally would not ask a specific person, but since my "SPP" thread (I KNOW you don't like abrevs, either-et. al!) had not gotten any response (probably because you are right, no one knew what the heck SPP meant!) and since "a" wrote a lot in my Super Princess Peach review, I asked him for help. I doubt I would have gotten as far as I had without peoples help on this!)
Sorry I won't write personal threads again.
By the way (BTW!) I got the caterpillar down to two skulls, so I'm getting close! Thanks again to EVERYONE!

...I LOVE the ocean level. In Mario terms it seems that should have come before the lava level....
It was easy to beat the big Caterpillar. If anyone has problems, I basically found a safe spot. Flip him, hit his weak point, then GO ALL THE WAY TO THE RIGHT, under the platform. Ignore the rocks at first, you have plenty of Jewel power. Try to save your hearts till he is down to two skulls. Once the fog comes, Again use the safe spot to "happy swirl" the fog away. You'll need a few jewels now, but since you only need two more hits, it is easy to get him. I killed him with two full hearts!
Super Princess Peach is my third favorite DS game, after New Super Mario Bros. and Zookeeper. GIRL POWER!
