Any takes on the NFC/AFC Championship game?

Postby feilong801 » January 14th, 2007, 10:51 pm

Okay, I made really strong coffee today, and I've been posting like crazy all day. This......one.....last......post!!!

To the football fans here: Two interesting matchups next week, especially AFC, who do you think will win, Colts or Patriots, Bears or Saints?

My take: Patriots (just can't think Manning will ever overcome Brady) and Chicago (because the Bears just seem to win, even if they play terrible football).

hmm, might be interesting to see what happens to run it through Madden this year to see who wins.  Anybody with this year's copy want to give it a try?

My pics are the Bears and Colts but based on my past pics it will naturally end up being the Saints and Pats.

Good games all the way around.  Next weekend will be a blast to watch.

Fei, after watching how the Bears played today, they'd better go in there next week with a little more than what they've been showing the past several weeks. Grossman really has to get his crap together and invest himself a little bit more. Today's game was way too close for comfort and it has been that way the entire season!

Yep, Rex Grossman is the worst quarterback to ever play on an "elite" team. I can't believe how Chicago can win most games with an offense that not only doesn't score, but also regularly turns the ball over.

I want New Orleans to win. Fun team, great story, and Reggie Bush is electrifying. I just fear that the Bears have this intangible magic about them and they'll win anyway.

Don't worry, Fei, they'll be back to zero in no time.;-) Actually, my father-in-law and I saw the first game they lost this season....Bears vs. Miami. It was sooooo horrible!

It's going to be Patriots and Saints on top. Peyton Manning will never overcome the playoff pressure, and he certainly won't be able to do it with Tom Brady on the other side. I think Rex Grossman will screw up; Drew Brees is more reliable. Thanks for telling me the outcome of the games by the way. I missed them.

Can't tell if you are genuinely thankful, a, or if you had recorded them or something and I played the spoiler

I want it to be the Bears. Why? I'm a Chicagoian (I guess that's a word) for sports all around that city. Bulls. Blackhawks. BEARS!!!

Genuinely thankful. I missed the games and didn't feel like waiting for the results on SportsCenter. I thought it sounded a little sarcastic after I posted it; sorry about that.

I'm from Baltimore, so I've pretty much lost my will to live.
But don't worry about me, I'll get over the Ravens loss in a few years.  If I'm lucky.
