I don't really use the name that often any more, generally going with "The Doctor" or "Doctor Who", haven't ditched on here yet though.
If I were you, I'd switch to "Doctor Who" on here.  The Doctor just makes me think of those Peanuts comic strips.

Sega Saturn X seems more appropriate this generaton I'd imagine.  I mean, you ended up pretty much hating the original Xbox, but you're all over the 360.  I thought it had something to do with Sonic X or Final Fantasy X, or Megaman X though.  I managed to guess where the first part came from.

Linkdude? Well it means that I'm a dude, (no kidding) and I'm a HUGE fan of the Legend of Zelda series.

I have posted a topic like this before and the name that I post under comes from my xbox live gamertag: JustLikeHeaven3.

I came up with the gamertag due to me being lazy.  At the time when I was creating my account, I was listening to The Cure...and the song "Just Like Heaven" was playing in the background.  I put two and two together and BAM...instant gamertag.  I always got a kick out of the people that would sing the name while waiting for games of Halo 2 to start.

So the name is just in reference to a song and has no religious meaning or anything like that.

I have been posting on these forums for over a year now and I think its time to come up with a more videogame appropriate name to post under.  In the next day or so I will think of one and post it in this thread.

If I did switch it would be to Doctor Who 3K as it is my live tag as well.  I've grown fond of sega saturn x, even if it's proof oh how habitualy awful I am at making screen names.  (on a side note I like the cure song the walk.)

The first video game I can remember playing is Sonic and Knuckles for the Genesis. It's just a vague picture, but I remember all of the mushrooms and that red guy bouncing around. When I got older and learned that his name was Knuckles, he became my favorite game character. So I guess IronKnux makes sense, seeing as Knuckles beats people into oblivion with his fists.

"Adamant" is the name I've been using pretty much since I got the internet, after a short stint as "thenameisbond". It originates from the legendary metal from Final Fantasy, Adamantium, which was shortened to "Adamant" for space issues. Yeah, it's silly, but I was 13, alright?

I always thought you were a fan of the pop star Adam Ant!

Used to game back in the Quake days as The Sentinel.  Was going to move onto Quake 2 and around that time The Sentinel Returns game was released which my mates and I used to joke about.  Then saw the film Evolution.  There is a bit where the fat kid in the tunnel shouts out "Bluemonkey."  I thought it was funny and a kind of call name.  Anyways later on it became Whatabluemonkey to make it more interesting.  Then I messed up my XBox Live registration and so had to come up with a new name, which resulted in Averybluemonkey.  Which some people shorten to Aviary.  Avery != Aviary people.

I like Wolverine as much as the next guy, but some one needs to tell Batman where his laundry ended up.

Yes, but I didn't know Marvel had used the name as well at that age. Nor that the was an artist named Adam Ant, which is indeed the most common connection people make with the name.
