I just ordered the ethernet adapter so I should be online in just a couple weeks. I plan on downloading Bonk's Adventure, Bomberman 93, Military Madness, and Gunstar Heroes. Could all of you with the Virtual Console up and running tell me if there are any other games I should get? Leave out NES games; I've got enough of those already.

Superstar Soldier (hard but I love it)

Dungeon Explorer (hard but I love it)

Ristar (hard but I love it)

If Ristar is the Sega game that has the character with stretchy arms I can just unlock it in Sonic Mega Collection, but I may buy it anyway because it's very hard to do, and my brother has the PS2. What genres do the other games fall into?

Don't pay the price for the VC version of Ristar. Spend a couple more bucks and buy Sega Genesis Collection for the PS2 with Ristar and many others. Keep a eye out and you should be able to get it on sale for $10.

The Sonic Mega Collection Plus unlock requirements kept me from bothering to unlock it. Not worth the effort.

I don't currently have a PS2 actually; it's with my brother. I may pass on it anyway, since at some point it will end up back in the house. The Sega Collection looks pretty good. As for the Sonic Mega Collection unlocks I actually managed to unlock everything except Ristar. Ristar required you to play every Sonic game 50 times each or something ridiculous like that. All that meant was entering and quitting each game 50 times. It was an idiotic way to unlock a game because it didn't require skill, just a lot of patience and time to spare. I would have rather it had been beat all the Sonic games. It would have taken longer but at least it would have been enjoyable.
