i would suggest some japanese consoles ... like pc-fx, fm towns marty etc. and it is not very difficult to get a pippin - the software and the 16 mb ram expansion are the real problems! i have two katz media pippins. these are pal/ntsc switchable and have the scsi connector built in. the wireless controller is a nice addition too. good luck!

If this guy suffers from some tragic mishap, and his consoles magically appear in my collection, well, I just want everyone to know I had absolutely nothing to do with it!!!

I hope you have a good security system!  Actually, I don't.  Instead I hope you mail me your address and a list of times you will be gone from the house.

Hey, I noticed no handheld systems.  Do you not buy any handhelds?  I can't imagine anyone not living without the awesome Nintendo DS, especially someone who owns a bunch of systems including not so good ones like the Sega 32x and about 10 I've never heard of.  How many of these systems do you have connected? This sounds like wire hell.  Do you got any pictures of this.  I'm sorry, but I just can't believe this until I see this.

I don't have even half as many consoles in my collection, but I AM leaving my games to SOMEONE in my will (I plan on leaving this planet someday)...has anyone else thought that far ahead (though it may not be "that far" for ME.)...don't just let goodwill get all that classic stuff and THROW IT AWAY!-Ouch!

Anyway, I think you got most of the american stuff in terms of consoles. I Would only suggest (besides adding Handhelds, DS and Gameboy/Lynx/Game gear can be fun!) adding a Coleco Adam. You can play all those wonderful Colcovision games on a MONITOR then, and the exclusive Coleco SUPER games as well! Adam Rocks!

How is the FM Towns Marty? I've always wanted to play Spatterhouse on that system. Is there anything on the PC-fx that isn't anime?

Thanks for the feedback all.  Some questions/thoughts on your suggestions:

o I have been looking for a FM Towns Marty, the PC-FX and the various famicom systems (twin, disk, etc.) - just haven't come across the right one yet (box/inserts/etc.).  I am looking for a couple odd items from overseas, like the Satellaview add-on and the Panasonic Q.  Twel --> nice going getting not one but two of the katz media models - those baby's are rare!  Also, I will probably add a JVC X'Eye.

o I have never really been into the handheld units at all.  But, to be honest, I will probably enter into it after completing the main console collection.

o I have seen the Coleco Adam around, but I think I have varied enough into the computer/console conversions.  I thought about adding the Commodore Vic 20 and a couple of others of that type, but I think I should finish off the strictly console division first (thanks Dave for your thoughts on this/guidance previously).

o Others I should probably look at: JVC X'Eye, an Intellivion II and a Commodore CD-TV.

o I am waiting on some of those 'Stick N Click' display lights to come in to adequately display the systems.  As soon as received, I'll throw up some pics of the collection.

o As far as security and my schedule, I'm heading out in a few minutes to grab some dinner.  Have at it, just don't take leave a mess - I am kind of an organization freak

Thanks again all for your thoughts.  Happy gaming.
