I think I stumbled upon another one of these. I never know how to turn my Vita on. I usually just mess around until it comes out. So I look it up, and apparently you're supposed to hold in the power button for FIVE SECONDS. How in the hell is anyone supposed to know this?
I also find it amusing how there are pages dedicated to figuring out how to turn your Vita on and off.

That was to make it look like a VCR and not a video game console. I'm sure everyone knows it was the Nintendo Entertainment System not the Nintendo Videogame System. Coming out of the video game crash they intentionally tried to sell it as something more by include R.O.B. and the Nintendo Zapper as part of the bundle.
Sure, it was dumb and asinine but that was the reasoning behind it.

Lol I guess that’s cheaper than sucking in the cartridges and then lowering it into the system like a VCR and tapes.
