Why do you automatically assume that people who don't agree with you are fanboys? Why do you feel the need to insult people just because they think the game is better? Can't you try debate instead?

"Man, when are you SNES fans going to stop this "Genesis stole our games" stuff."

Can I beg every person on the board to please use at least some words with their emoticons unless it is a simple message like "thumbs up". The Rolly eyes in particular needs some explaining. It has as much meaning as a 10th grade cheerleader rolling her eyes (i.e. not much specifically). There are at least 2 ways that what I said could make you roll your eyes. Either you a) don't believe that Genesis players did hear that a lot or b) you think I shouldn't have jumped into the Genesis players vs. SNES players debate mode.
Now, your reply made me roll my eyes, but think of how much more I've just clarified my opinion than had I simply replied to your rolly eyes with a set of rolly eyes. Please people, say something or say nothing.

First, I think Contra -hard corps and Gunstar are two different games. Hard Corps was well named IT IS TOO DAMNED HARD! After all the hype of Gunstar I was happy to find a used copy, but like Zen I think it is a GOOD game, but not the best. It looks kinda like an NES version of METAL SLUG!
On ROMS, I have and play MAME Roms occasionaly. I would GLADLY have paid for these Roms, but back when, no one cared about old games and no one sold them. Lots of games like Ladybug, Pepper 2, Make trax, Amidar, Berzerk and others are simply not available on compilations. No carts to get dirty, and these are the real coin-op code. I never downloaded files I already owned though. Is it wrong? I think its kind of a grey area. If the company is dead and no one profits anyway, who is hurt?

No thanks, it got my point across without resorting to dramatics and trying to make myself appear somehow more important or intelligent than other users here. It seemed like the easiest way to dismiss that bit of nonsense you posted, honestly. No reason to write a whole essay when that got my message across.
Sorry though that it annoyed you, but you started it by needlessly bringing that into the conversation for some reason.

See how you ended up posting a paragraph to explain it anyway? Just making sure you noticed that.
By the way, rolley eyes is dramatics. In fact, that is all they are.

I don't ever recall insulting anyone here.
But how is this, next time, instead of saying a bad game "sucks monkey nuts", I'll say a bad game "sucks BLUE MONKEY nuts", happy?

That was because the simple explanation wasn't clear enough for you, Atarifever. Anyways, I'll apologize since it was rather rude of me.

Really "who cares" I guess should have been my first reaction. I'm starting to feel like every arguement I have on here gets more and more out of hand for less and less reason. From now on, I'm posting positive stuff only. Sorry for the trouble Leo.
