Def Jam's new video game "Def Jam Icon," is dropping in March and I heard that it was supposed to be off the hook. If you are a hip hop lover and you liked vendetta and fight for new york then you will definately love this game. There's a preview of it on http://www.gametrailers.com/. You can also hook up your ipod or mp3 player to the system so that your players can fight too the beat of the music that you like. Check it out...i'm tellin' you it's gonna be hot!

I agree. Fight For NY was one of the best games in this last generation by far. I know alot of people were probably put off by the hip hop element of it, but that is unfortuneate because it actually is alot of fun to dive into that seedy, make believe world that the game creates. Here is why the game rules you:

***Do you remember those N64 wrestling games (WCW NWO Revenge, Wrestlemaina 2000, WWF No Mercy, VPW 2) that kick so much butt? They were developed by a comapny known as AKI. So was FFNY. The gameplay of the N64 games is basically here, minus pins and ground submissions. It includes 5 different fighting styles too, very similar to what some of the 64 games did.

***Excellent voice acting

***Amazing graphics

***A little over the top, but actually a decent storyline in the one player game

***Tons of unique battle arenas

***Excellent soundtrack, even if you don't like rap.

***Tons of replay value. Unlocking all the trophys took me playing the one player game (a several hour ordeal) 3 or 4 times.

***The most unique way I have experienced in leveling up and morphing your chatacter's unique fighting style (which can be a combination of up to 3 fighting styles)

Anyway, what he said. Should be very interesting to see if the game is better or worse. It's an EA game.... so we'll keep out fingers crossed.
