More graphics

I've changed the look of the right navigation bar on the main screen, trying to make it match the rest of the site. Let me know what you think. I had to temporarily remove the search function because it wasn't working.

Also, Mark Jewell has added a snazzy new banner composed of nothing but controllers. I'm thinking about making a page that just displays all the banners, since they look so good.

Yuck! I love the new graphics for the top navigation bar but don't like the new look for the right navigation bar at all. I think it was fine as was. Change it back, or suffer my wrath at Bruce Lee on the Atari XE!!!

Eh, I liked them before but these do fine too. As long as they serve they're purpose I don't mind what they look like.

Sorry critic, I'm also not a big fan of the new right navigation bar. It doesn't really matter though, so if other people like it it's fine. I do like the idea of a page showing the banners. Can you have him make some more?

I concur with a and sudz that the new graphics are worse. They feel like going from 2d sonic glory to the 3d sonic game graveyards.

Seriously though, what's wrong with the new right navigation bar? Does it look too plain? I really wanted it to look more consistent with the left bar.

I will definitely be tinkering with it until I get some positive feedback.

I'm probably in the minority, but I think it looks better this way. It could be smaller though.

I'm having trouble pinpointing exactly what it is I don't like about it. I'm sure it is trouble, but if you put up the old navigation bar for a day, then swapped it back to the new one I'm sure I could pinpoint what I liked more about the old one. It's up to you. If you don't want to do it then I think partially it is a little too big, and it takes me a couple seconds to find the forums link. I'm sure I'd get used to it pretty quickly, but you may want to divide the sections with a green line or something.

i think the fonts are too big on the sidebar or something... and the colors look too plain and don't match the look of the left side.

First, great job updating the site's layout.

Second, I think the reason it might look a little strange is that the corners are rounded on the left bar, and the corners are squared on the right bar.
