Who's post are you referring to ssx? I'm sure whoever posted it knows, but I have no idea what you're talking about.

[/QUOTE]

He's referring to bartman's statement of the possibility of GTA IV on the Wii.

Yeah, definitely not gonna happen.. though it would be hilarious to have a Wii version with Mii's instead of people. Maybe even a gangsta Mario? *shudders*

For those who don't like profanity and lots of claymation blood and gore, tread lightly on this one.

Franchises run into the ground?

This are franchises that need to go away for a few years...

Grand Theft Auto

SSX

Burnout (Do we really need 5 of these?)

Need for Speed (Do we really need 100 of these?)

Medal of Honor -- WWII is the most over done setting ever

Call of Duty  -- see above

Splinter Cell -- 4 games in 4 years is a little overkill

Sonic

James Bond games

Mario Party

Pokemon

Once again, I'd like to say that Mario Party needs to go away permanently.

It doesn't need to go away, permanently, until there isn't an audience for it anymore.  And there is an audience.  I don't care for it personally, but at least a few I know buy up every version.

If you don't want it, don't buy it.  Just don't try to ruin it for those who do want it.

Yeesh. Taking that a little too seriously. I'm just messing around, because I think it's a bad game. I don't think other people on these forums are so impressionable that Mario Party will be ruined for them because I don't like it.

Sorry if I jumped a little too much there.  My reaction wasn't to you not liking it, but wanting it to go away.  Believe me, if it doesn't have an audience, it will go away.

Personally, I don't care for Mario Party myself, but there are plenty of people who do like it.  It's one of those game series that keeps my niece, nephews, and godson occupied together in friendly competition.

I think the DS and the Wii can also breathe some new life into the series.

Anyone who compares MoH and CoD doesn't know what they are talking about.  CoD 2 is the biggest breath of fresh air to the FPS genre for a while.  I hate WW2 games like MoH normally but CoD 2 is so not what you expect and takes your breath away.
