Personal games of the year?

Here is my list

Mortal Kombat Shaolin Monks (XBOX) - Some people hated this game, but I found it to be a fun brawler that I could play over and over again.  My love for the MK universe probably helped me enjoy it more though.

Gauntlet Seven Sorrows (XBOX) - This is easily the best Gauntlet game I've ever played.  Two player Co-op is incredibly fun.  Mindless action, but man its fun while it lasts.

Unreal Championship 2: The Liandri Conflict (XBOX) - This FPS/3rd person hybrid was in a class all its own.  It had a steep learning curve, but I loved every minute of this game.  Well worth the $14 I paid for it.

Metal Gear Solid 3: Subsistance (PS2)- This was a great game in the MGS franchise and this special edition made it even better.  Snake Eater came close to matching the standard set by MGS and this game rekindled my faith in the series.

The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess (Wii) - Great game that lived up to all of my expectations.  Still working through this one, and still loving it as well.  Wiimote is a joy to use as well.

Gears of War (360) - Great shooter that harkens back to the days where things didn't need convoluted stories to be good.  This plays out like a super action movie from the 80s.  All its missing is Arnie or Stallone as the lead character.

Resistance Fall of Man (PS3) - Wonderful game from the Ratchet and Clank folks.  Those guys sure know how to make weapons fun.  Great FPS, that does all the little things right.  Hopefully a sequel will improve this already stellar game.

Mario and Luigi Partners in Time (DS) - One of the best RPG's I've played in a long time.  Fun, easy to play and hard to put down.  All qualities of a great game.

Powerstone (Dreamcast) - I waited far too long to pick up this underrated classic.  One that I couldn't put down for weeks.  Great multiplayer as well.

Shadow of the Colossus (PS2) - For some reason I waited until this game dropped down to $20 before I purchased it...I shouldn't have waited.  SotC is easily one of the best PS2 games ever made.  Thrilling battles that are so epic it needs to be played to fully appreciate it.  If you haven't already go pick this one up.  Its a great value for $20.  A next gen sequel would make me as giddy as a schoolgirl.
