The first Lynx collection seems like quite the value. There are several titles on there I have never even heard of.

FYI, both Lynx carts are open for preorder on Amazon right now.

Re: Evercade Reviews?
Just a heads-up to anyone that is interested in collecting or playing Evercade (VS) games, a new Blog post on the Evercade main site lists that due to licensing reasons, several carts will cease production for the near future:
https://evercade.co.uk/looking-forward- ... cade-2022/
The carts that are impacted are below for reference:
Of note, the Namco Collections are both confirmed to NOT be compatible with the Evercade VS (they play only on the handheld unit), and as far as I know this only impacts the Technos Collection 1 cart, not the upcoming Technos Arcade Collection 1 cart.
Thoughts?

The carts that are impacted are below for reference:
Namco Collection 1 (ends June 2022)
Namco Collection 2 (ends June 2022)
Technos Collection 1 (ends March 2022)
Oliver Twins Collection (ends March 2022)
These dates are the last time we can sell these titles to our customers, but you should still see stock in the market as it sells through in 2022. We continue to discuss new arrangements for these collections in the future.

I can't believe they forgot the obligatory "Please kids - check with your parents before you call"
but in this case, maybe the parents should check with their kids instead.

With the Evercade VS US release coming soon, will reviews of the Evercade/VS/carts be in the cards?

Yes, I have this preordered!
The question is, does it deserve its own section?

Good question
Some of the carts include games that never had "official" releases (the Piko 1 collection has several translated games that were Asian releases, and the Intellivision 1 cart has at least one game that was a recent creation), and there are also the Arcade carts.

It’s mostly the same as games like the Namco Museum discs. There’s still value in knowing how good the selection of games is, and how well they control.
Some games may also feel more playable as you always can save them (even if you don’t directly cheat with save states, it’s good just not to have to beat a long game in one sitting).
Some may have flaws on the Evercade worth noting (the initial issue with the difficulty switches on the Atari 2600 games not being able to be switched back, which I don’t know if it was fixed).
Some are collections of indie games that haven’t been reviewed elsewhere on the site, or games that have not had US releases (Japanese stuff like Tower of Drauga (from one of the Namco carts) or European things like Sensible Soccer)
One issue is that some include so many games (up to 21 or so), that I’m not sure the best way to give an overview.
