I'm in the process of (re)reviewing what may be the best light gun I've ever played. Can you guess what it might be?

In your opinion, what is the best light gun game?

I can only imagine House of the Dead 2.

Outside of that I'd go with Point Blank for the Playstation.

This one is obscure. Hint: Playstation One.

Based on the PS1 hint, I'd usually guess Time Crisis or Point Blank. But from your reviews, my actual guess is Die Hard Trilogy.

For me personally, I have a soft spot for Virtua Cop on the Saturn. Virtua Cop came with my Saturn set that I got on ebay sometime around 2002. I played it a bunch and had a blast with it. And it helps that the Saturn Stunner is one of the best light guns out there. That game helped to get me hooked on the Saturn, and that Saturn in turn helped get me hooked on system collecting. So while there's better light gun games out there, VC is the one I always remember most fondly.

Hmmmm, it would have to be the Die Hard Trilogy based on what I've seen, though I could be wrong. I even remember you once said House of the Dead 2 was the greatest.

We're failing here. I was gonna guess Rescue Shot, but I see that you haven't reviewed that one. Elemental Gearbolt is an obscure one.

It's Elemental Gearbolt. This game is pretty amazing. I'm sure I took it for granted back in the day, but now it's one of those old titles you cherish.

Never heard of Rescue Shot but I'm interested.
