I'm like the Critic, I enjoy seasonally correct games (along with seasonally correct drinks, movies, etc).
Summer is tricky with me, as I like to spend as much time outside that I can. I find as I get older, I don't want to let those nice summer evenings go to waste! So gaming for me slows down in the summer, even though I love summer related games.
However, I was able to get through some games this summer. I am just finishing up Golf Story. Really enjoyed it, but I agree with the Critic, it was very wordy! But, still a lot of fun.
As well, my wife, 2 kids and myself bought Overcooked 2 (and downloaded the Suns Out, Buns Out DLC) and we really enjoyed it, but it can start arguments!
As well, nearly finished Link's Awakening, but am pretty stuck in the last dungeon. Me and the kids/wife are playing that together as well but we've kinda got tired of it. Need to revisit it and finish it up. Very summery vibe with that game though.
How about you guys? What did your summer gaming look like?
