Sony spokeperson slams Wii
Not to induce ANOTHER Nintendo vs. Sony flame war, what do you think of these comments from the New York Times:
"...Dave Karraker, a spokesman for Sony Computer Entertainment of America, said the Wii did not belong in the same category as the more powerful PlayStation 3. “Wii could be considered an impulse buy more than anything else,” he declared."
I think it shows Sony arrogance once again, which could turn the gamer-base at least towards Microsoft. I think by the end of 2007, Sony's sales will surpass the Wiis, or at least be close to it, but do you guys think this is a sign of the beginning of the end for Sony's reign?
Before anyone brings up Blu-ray again, just remember, the porn industry hasn't picked if they are gonna do Blu-ray or HDDVD. If the porn industry picks HDDVD, Blu-ray is toast (See BETA). If anyone thinks that comment is out of line or just wrong, just remember the porn industry dwarfs Hollywood in DVD sales and rentals. It's decision will make one media obsolete.
