Game: BREATH OF THE WILD
The Good: the world. Truly immersive, full of adventure and creativity. Felt like you had many possibilities to fulfill an objective of your choosing. Even things like gathering items, cooking, etc. were fun.
The Bad: Shrines. Too many to be memorable, inconsistent challenge, and you get pretty sick of that music. I also suck at 3D puzzles, so there’s some personal bias for sure.
The Ugly: one hit deaths. Happens WAY too much. Can totally kill the moment for me. You make a long walk, get involved in a tense fight, and in one second, it’s over. Ugh. Even though I’m not a fan of the weapon degradation, it’s manageable compared to the critical hits.
Judge a game: the good, the bad, and the ugly
