Apart from the classics range most second hand games at EB are $60, and that's a year after they came out.

My development manager lives in Israel.  He happens to be addicted to video games, particularly his PSP, which he uses for other purposes in travelling to the US, India and the UK.

He said that he often buys American systems with American games when he travels simply because of the incredibly high prices in Israel for new and even used video games.  New games in Israel cost from $120 to $150.  Systems are somewhere near 250% of the cost for an equal system in the US.  Used games are usually at their lowest at about $70.

We are spoiled in the US when it comes to the prices of electronics and games.  I hope to keep it that way.

Actraiser I live in the UK where the price of a brand new game is $95.  The cheapest you can get most 360 games second hand is $60.  $10 sounds alright to me.

Why on earth are game prices so much more over there?  Is there an import tax on games?  Here, new games go for $60 but if you wait a few months they'll eventually fall to $20 for the greatest hits/clear out price.  And if you wait a year or two at some stores they'll dump brand new games down to $5 a pop to clear out inventory.
