I would be in the market for this! I hope they take the time to clean up the user interface a bit to make it look like a more polished product.

Evercade to unveil whatever the VS is on April 23rd...

Here's hoping for a console version of the system that uses the same carts. If so, I'm already sold...

I am assuming that it will be an extender cable and a firmware update. this will allow you to connect two Evercades together. Though I will await the surprise.

This sounds like a reasonable assumption.

Come to think of it, while a console version of the Evercade with multiple controllers would work fine, the above comments make the think of a dock for the Evercade that allows for two controllers and the mini-HDMI for vid signal. Low budget, but it would work.

Of note the recent releases for the Evercade include Piko Collection 2, which has a TON of sports games...

I'm hoping it's a traditional console that uses the existing cartridges. I'd definitely buy that over the handheld.

Lol
I know the Evercade is run off of an emulation-style system, though thus far the Lynx and PSX is the most advanced games I can say have been emulated with no issues (SNES/Genesis are far easier to emulate than Lynx and PSX).
