Crackdown's Halo 3 Beta Invite
After failing to try to become one of 13,333 people to get invited, and also trying to register, I'm finally gonna preorder Crackdown now. Anyone think it's worth it?

Crackdown's Halo 3 Beta Invite
I'm assuming that you have LIVE...why not just try the demo?
The game isn't getting really stellar reviews. It seems that the general word is that its a "fun, but flawed experience". Also the game needs to be patched as soon as you boot it up to fix some issues with the game.
If you you really want to be in the Beta Invite that badly than just preorder the game...thats what Microsoft wants you to do.

I played the demo for crackdown and it is F'n amazing. It plays like GTA, but you have super human powers and can jump 20 feet in the air, pick up trucks, and it just makes for pure chaos. This game makes great use of the havok engine. It has a 84 percent at gamerankings, and right now, its the number 1 game I'm looking foward to.

I'll be getting it also. Maybe I should pre order it cause I don'y want to buy it next month and there's no beta invite in there.

PATCHED???
I pre-ordered this game and I don't have Xbox live, nor an internet connection for my Xbox360
Does this mean I just spent 60 bucks on a game that I cannot play!??
JLH...please please tell me the "patch" is just for the Halo 3 beta code thingie, and not the Crackdown game itself

I'm pretty sure the game is playable, but its the multiplayer portions that needed to be patched. The patch was suppose to address framerate issues and matchmaking problems that were occuring. You should be fine if you are only playing single player. Hope that helped.

Thank God for that.
I don't think that game companies care about people like me, whom don't have their Xbox360 online, they don't care that some people can't get "patches".

How are you able to have your PC online then? I don't have any sympathy for people that have the capability to bring their 360 online, but refuse to. Its free to get these patches, you don't need a Xbox Live Gold account.
