GBA recomendations

I have a DS, but have a pretty thin library for it. I want to flesh it out with GBA games, I am just in the mood for those kind of games for some reason. I have a pretty good idea of some games to pick up, but if you have any recomendations of some good games that aren't quite so mainstream, or maybe some good compilations, please post. Thanks

The GBA makes the DS that much better...good call on picking up some games for it.  I'll start off with the obvious games to get.

Castlevania: Harmony of Dissonance  & Aria of Sorrow
Metroid Fusion & Metroid Zero Mission
The Legend of Zelda: Minish Cap
Gunstar Superheroes
Mario and Luigi Superstar Saga
Warioware Inc
Mario vs Donkey Kong

Here are some lesser known gems

Double Dragon Advance
Drill Dozer (Awesome platformer with built in rumble pak!)

Advance Wars 1 & 2

As I posted in my review, the 16-in-1 game pak is a good value. I also reccomend the NES classics (Ice Climber, Donkey Kong) if you can still find them. You can't go wrong with any of the classic Super Mario Advance games. I had my GBA longer than my DS. My favorites for it are:

* Activision Anthology

* Puzzle Leauge/ Dr. Mario

* Gradius Galaxies

Pac Man collection is pretty fun. Definitely pick up the Advance Wars games, and I'd go for some NES classics if you can find them cheap. The Stuntman GBA game is also surprisingly fun.

I REALLY recommend the newest Pirates of the Caribbean (sp) for the GBA.  I have a DS with about 7 games and I play that more than any of the DS games.  It's awesome 16-bit-era-feeling action.

Wario Ware Twisted

Pokemon Ruby/Saffire/Emerald (Emerald is best for those without one of the others)

 

I'm not sure if anyone mentioned Metroid Zero Mission, but if so, here's another fan of the game.

And for the RPG fans out there who don't already own these games, Phantasy Star Collection (PS1-3) is an absolute nessecity.

Also, Activision Anthology is the best GBA game ever, and must be bought.

Activision Anthology runs most games too slow to be worthwhile, imo.

A question about Mariokart Super Circuit : I assume it kind of replicates the origional Mariokart, and while that is truly a landmark game it makes me motionsick/headache and I  have no interest in playing it. Is Super Circuit "better" visualy, or should I skip it? I have MK for DS and I thought that the best designed courses in the Retro track section were the GBA ones, so I am kind of tempted to pick it up, unless the game engine is basicly the same as the SNES one.
