The system has plenty of built-in memory, but a memory card is nice if you end up downloading a LOT of VC games (which I doubt you'll have to given your collection).

It comes with one controller and one nunchuk.  I'd suggest getting Wii Play for the extra controller, and getting an extra nunchuk.

Other than that, I can't think of much you need in the way of accessories.  If you want to play any VC games for the SNES, N64, or some Genesis games, you might want to pick up the Classic Controller.  Many of them already allow you to use your Gamecube controllers, but many of them are optimized for the classic controller, and at $19.99, it's not that expensive.

You can find a 1GB SD card for around $30 if you look around. m0zart hit it right on with what you should do with controllers. And I know you said you already know what games you're getting, but I have to recommend Excite Truck; it is highly underrated and you can play your own music if you have an SD card.

Yeah I forgot about that one.  If you want 480p, be sure to get component cables for the Wii.  They are actually rather plentiful now, at least 3rd Party versions.

Once connected, make sure you go into the Wii settings and turn 480p on.  Otherwise, the default signal is still the low-end.

I don't know where you live, but here in the U.S. it's $50 with the Wiimote.

Also, to the critic, get an SD card if only so you can listen to your own music in the games that support it (only Excite Truck for now), and bring saves to friends houses. Like JLH said, don't get Nintendo brand or SanDisk brand. Any non name brand SD cards can be found for really cheap. If you look hard enough you can get a 1 GB for around $20, or you could just get a really cheap 512 MB, which would last you for a while if you aren't downloading games.

I picked up the steering wheel accessory the other day, and I'm glad I did.  Excite Truck plays fine without it, but I feel more comfortable using the wheel.
