Imported Games?

Alright, there's alot of games in Japan that have the possibility of making it's way to the US, but the majority of game sites I know have little news on them. ie. Death Note: Kira Game.  Anyways, I'm wondering if there's a site out there with good Import news, not ordering, I don't speak Japanese and only in rare cases will I get a Japanese game. ie. Virtual Pro Wrestling 2 64

I highly suggest Osu! Tatakae! Ouendan! for the DS.  It's like Elite Beat Agents but even more quirky (if you can imagine), and the lack of knowledge of the language doesn't hurt the experience at all.

Does it have Dance/Techno music to it? Cause I did enjoy the EBA gameplay but the music was like my all time least favorite music list ever...

Insert Credit covers a lot of Japan related gaming news.

That Insert Credit site is pretty cool and all but really really really confusing, it's not organized what so ever from what I saw.  But it did have some interesting games on there, unfortunately some of them I couldn't even find out what system they were for...

It has several J-Pop tunes.  It's music selection is actually different in style than EBA's.  It has some hilarious Japanese rap for instance.  I don't know if I'd call it dance/techno, as all the songs have words, but since you don't understand the words, the voices are more like "menumenuh dee deeeee de-de-dee" muppet instruments instead.

the-magicbox.com is a pretty good site. They do international gaming news so no matter what country a game is released in it'll be up there. The layout is pretty straight forward too. The only problem I've ever had with it is that if you're looking for old articles/news it can be difficult to navigate to.

Virtual Pro Wrestling 2 was amazing. I read that "King of the Colisieum" ( I cant spell) for the PS2 was the updated sequel and it was even better. If I get a friggin PS2 that can last for more than six months I may buy that game.... if I learn how to spell it.

I've yet to own a PS2 but the KoC wrestling game looked sweet.

I don't know why they didn't release the Shonen Jump Superstars games in the USA, I mean they have Shonen Jump magazine here, and you know how many people read those?....hundreds, literally hundreds....

The international Shonen Jump magazines aren't the same as the japanese ones. Shonen Jump is an anthology of hundreds of titles, and outside of Japan, it is simply published by whomever managed to snag the rights to enough popular titles to make such a book sell. Different license holders own different licenses, and in such a license mess the Jump games are, it would be incredibly troublesome to release anywhere but in it's country of origin. Also add in the problem that the Jump games have a bunch of characters that are completely unknown outside Japan, and you got more crap to sort up.

It's the same with the popular strategy game series Super Robot Wars, where tons of characters from different mecha anime fight each other. Apart from the games that only have original characters, these would require way too much effornt to release for them to be worth it.
