A mistake(I think so!)?

Ok, remember that awful looking game Necronesia? Well, I guess it found a U.S. publisher(Eidos) and will be making it's way stateside as Escape From Bug Island(god, why don't you just call it Plan Nine From Outer Space....was the corpse of Ed Wood revived to pen the title for this game). I honestly believe this game, from what I've seen, shows the uglier side of Nintendo's games before graphics logic and why would they even bring it out here? It sold amazingly poor in Japan, the reviews were unbelievably hostile, etc. Any thoughts? Mind you, feel free to come in and bash the game but don't use this thread as a means of taking cheap potshots at the ps3/360/or Wii because I'm getting bored with those posts!
