The best is the N64.  I like the rounded "feet" at the front of it, and it just looks stylish.  I liked the Genesis at the time but it hasn't really aged well.  The SNES is pretty bad too, but I like the sliding buttons.  The redesigned PSone is pretty sleek, too.

I agree, and think that the VGC might like the PS2 because it resembles an old 2600....

 

As for me, it's hard to say now, but I remember thinking the SNES was smokin' hot when I opened the case and removed the plastic.  I had similar feelings with the 64.

In my opinion, the best looking consoles of all time are the Atari 6 switch woody, Vectrex (It looks just like a tv set), and Genesis 3 (compact and simple). I think the worst looking consoles have been the Odyssey 2 and Sega Genesis with the 32x and Sega CD attached.

I have always liked how the Dreamcast looked because of the cool colors and small size. The worst have to go to the Apple II look-alike Odyssey 2 and the poorly constructed PS3, which looks especially bad with the gray color and the Spider-Man film font makes it seem all the more cheap.

Everyone has a personal preference but I think the PS2 slim is horrible and it much worse looking than the original.

I'm also fond of the slim PS2 and of course the Dreamcast.  Guess I don't like these things to be any bigger than need be.  Oddly enough, at first I really liked the look of the 360, until one day I decided it looks an awful lot like a PC.  And I even enjoy PC gaming!

Slimlime PS2 is slick. I always thought Sega had some good looking consoles( with the exception of the master system and genesis model 1). The skeletal Saturn is probably my favorite looking console.

In my opinion, the Saturn is the best looking system ever. Sure its big and bulky, but I really like the black color and the simple (oval for me) power and reset buttons. The pop-top CD lid looks pretty cheap but it has not given me a problem as of yet. Not only that, but if you hook it up to a home entertainment system (which mine is all black) it blends in and looks amazing. As a matter of fact, I love the 360 look however it is white which looks very out of place by my TV.

these days im desperate for a console that isnt black/white/grey. its really old, and when you sell as many units as the three major companies sell, there is little excuse not to mix it up at least a little bit. when i saw pics of the wii in different colors, i was super excited about the prospect of owning a nintendo system in classic nintendo red, but its not to be at least until production meets demand.

ill just vote for the classic atari vcs 'heavy-sixer'

My favorite is the Gamecube, followed by the Dreamcast.  I think the PS2 is butt ugly, and the PS3 looks like one of those things that vacuum-seals your food.  I like the look of the Wii, but it is awfully plain.  I've actually always liked the look of the Jaguar, as long as it didn't have the CD drive hooked up.

Oh, and I like the Genesis 3.  Because it looks like a little spaceship and is the size of a McDonalds regular hamburger.  That thing is so small and light it provides virtually no resistance if you accidentally pull too hard on your controller while playing.  It just slides right along....

Actually I think the DS is the best looking of all.  I guess it's a handheld console though....so it doesn't count.  I did pick thee Wii though.  LONG LIVE NINTENDO!
