I read some interviews from a guy at Hudson about their VC releases.  He said that the VC was pretty much to put games out that were changed very little from their original console release, but he implied that another service on the Wii would soon be available on the Wii Shopping Channel for homebrewed Wii games.  So I have a feeling that we'll definitely see new games, but while they'll be available for purchase on the Wii Shopping Channel, they won't be literally on VC titles.
