Does Hotel Dusk count as light adventure? If so I'd recommend it. Contact for me is a pass. I looked forward to it for months only to get bored with it way too soon. Rob likes it though, so to each their own. *We both love Hotel Dusk though.

I'm actually more into exploring Gameboy Advance games right now, since I never had one. I loved Dead Man's Chest, and now am looking for a used copy of Metroid Fusion since I read so many god things about it.
Has anyone heard if the new DS Castlevania is good?

Portrait of Ruin is alright, but not as good as Dawn of Sorrow. I had fun playing through it, but I didn't have the urge to go through five more times like I did with Dawn of Sorrow. It's certainly worth getting, anyway.

I just ordered Portrait of Ruin the other day. Amazon.com was having a special and the game only cost $20 brand new.
What "a" said is pretty much what I've heard everywhere else. Its good Castlevania fun, but not as great as Dawn of Sorrow. As long as they keep making the Metroidvania games I will continue to buy them.
So basically what I'm trying to say is, if you like Dawn of Sorrow, buy this one too. You probably won't be too upset with it.

Really? I loved Portrait of Ruin and thought it beat Dawn in all categories (usually not by much) except level design.
Regardless, both are great games that are worth playing.

Level design is the most important thing to me in a game like that. I also missed the soul collecting though.

My main issue was that a lot of rooms were very similar and it got a bit repetitive, but I never thought "Ugh, this is horrible!".
Also, the idea of Soul Collecting was still used to an extent. Both Jonathan and Charlotte had a large variety of subweapons/spells (respectively), some gotten by beating up monsters. The Axe comes to mind.

Advance Wars - I love that game for the DS! It gets a little long with the story lines but you can skip most of it. Great game that makes you think a little.
Also, Wario Ware Touched is a lot of fun but I can only play it for 30 minutes at a time now that I finished all the levels.
Good luck!

Froey....Advance wars? I don't really like Strategy games.
I HAVE Warioware:Touched, love it.
To repeat: RECENT releases, guys! I can't order old stuff... unless it is on sale or in the classics section.
Speaking of which they had ZELDA-FOUR SWORDS. I had a question, is this for two or more players only or can a solo player enjoy it? Is it just a remake of A LINK TO THE PAST? Anything added to it besides 4-player? It was on sale for $15.
I have A LINK TO THE PAST on SNES but I never beat that one. Only got 1/4 of the way through....

Which one are you talking about? The one for the GBA? Or the one for the Gamecube.
The one for the GBA requires at least two players. The "single-player" mode for that game is the port (not remake as there are only minor changes to sound) of "A Link to the Past".
If you are talking about the one for the Gamecube, well that one allows up to four people with a GBA and GBA to Gamecube cables to connect and play. But unlike the GBA game, it also has a single-player mode where you take control of all four "Link" characters and control them using formations. Even though it's a bit more linear than many other Zelda games, I personally really enjoyed that game in single-player mode.
