SEGA to revive old game?

I don't know if this has been discussed yet but I just heard SEGA may be brining back an old game to possibly new gen systems.  This is what I got from 411mania.com, and on Sega's homepage they have a poll.  I myself voted for Streets of Rage, but wouldn't mind seeing what they could do with Flicky.  Right now a game called Nights? seems to be winning, I've never heard of this one so if anyone could tell me or perhaps refresh my memory.

Nights into Dreams was the 3d game that was supposed to bring the Saturn to glory, but it came to late so the Saturn failed anyway. It was, however, a brilliant game. You flew through levels looping around and going through rings to collect points; the game even had a special 3d controller to play it with. There have been a lot of rumors about Sega bringing the game to the Wii. I for one hope that Nights is indeed the game that is revived, and I suppose second to that I would go with Streets of Rage. I don't see a Flicky revival working.

I never played nights, so I feel unqualified to vote.   But out of the 4 other options, streets of rage deserves it the most.   Beatemups had died in the past 10 years and what better way to bring em back then with one of the best names in fighting?

The main reason I put the link up was to give Streets of Rage the edge....so if you don't vote for Streets of Rage you can't use my link : )

I voted for Samba De Amigo because it would fit PERFECTLY with the Wii.

Streets Of Rage was one of the best Genesis games ever. You got my vote. The graphics were okay, but the animation of BLAZE was awesome, I loved playing her, and the music is second to none on the system-I can still hear that street beat!

My bad, I voted for Nights Into Dreams. But in my defense I have actually played both and Nights is the better game (if we're talking original Streets of Rage). Plus, I think Nights would fit perfectly on the Wii.

Except, Conn, you're making me not sure about my choice. I love Nights, and I want a revival on Wii, but you're absolutely right on Samba De Amigo. While I have never played the original ($70 on Ebay, too much), there is no way a maracca game wouldn't work with the Wii controller and nunchuk attachment. It would be like a full fledged game made out of the Rayman Raving Rabbids dance levels.

I'll let this one go for now, but actually your right when I think Streets of Rage I immediatley think the second game.  I hardly remember from time to time there was a first cause the second was sooo much better....because of this technicality I can't play favorites.
