KFC Console

Postby Zack Burner » August 12th, 2022, 9:05 pm

This has GOT to be the most outlandish idea for a game console I've ever come across, a system where you not only play your games (disc based by the looks of it), but also cook a chicken simultaneously. I'm not kidding here's a link with some news:
https://exputer.com/news/industry/kfc-console/

Sounds pretty implausible/far-fetched and maybe even impractical. I mean what's to keep the cooking part from burning out your games? And where did this KFC company acquire the rights to build consoles? I'll bet this will bomb, I hope KFC did their testing right.

Reminds me of something that Ben Heck would do https://www.benheck.com/category/gaming/. Even so, this has been in development for awhile (since June 2020), and is basically a PC based console, similar to a steam box, with the added benefit of having a swappable GPU. This reminds me of this particular Pong console:

It doesn't cook anything; it uses the heat generated by the system itself to keep already cooked food warm.

Edit: Also, "the rights to build consoles"? What?

Is it compatible with the three Burger King games?
