Psyched Up About God Of War 2

I don't know about you guys, but I think God of War is the best PS2 title of all time. I'm looking forward to playing the sequel. Anybody else?

I had never played the full version of God of War but I'm going to play the sequel. Does anyone think I might miss anything playing the sequel first than the first game?

You might miss alot of the story. The games tie in together and the first game is pretty heavy on story. I would suggest picking up the first game before the second...just my opinion though.

I know you've said Resident Evil 4 is the best Gamecube game of all time, and now that God of War is the best PS2 title of all time. What about the best Xbox game of all time?

Linkdude you should play the first God of War out of general principle. It's worth every second.

Why even think about it? It's only $20 now, and even at $50, it's worth every penny. And so is God of War 2, which is absolutely fantastic, especially for the seemless way it mixes its storyline in with the gameplay (I love the part where you escape Hades and the hands keeping you down) , without making you put your controller down constantly to watch cutscenes. Hopefully other developers (cough, Square Enix) will pay attention to this.
