Whenever I have friends come over I realize NO games in my vast collection are a conversation starter more than all the FULL MOTION VIDEO games. The second I show people that marky mark and kriss kross actually had "games" people become amazed. When I show them that debby harry and corey haim are together in a game (double switch) they laugh and want to see more. They joke and say its good to see dana plato got work (night trap). To me that makes a game more valuable. What starts the talking for people you know?

Just kidding. Whenever I have a game I am hyped about, and I show it to people, they ussualy don't care. I think they like to burn me a little bit, you know?
My Dad really thought Wii Sports was cool, and he was last seen playing "Space Invaders" many years ago. Will he buy a Wii? No Nintendo, that is too much to ask. But he was amazed, he was amazed.

Wii Sports, or just the Wii itself, gets a lot of people talking. Anyone can pick it up, and despite what several people here have said, I know a few people who have never played video games who got Wiis.

The Wii has been a life saver when we have had boring people at our house, which has happened a few times since we had our first baby. People seem to practically invite themselves over to see her, even almost a year after she was born. Anyways, when the conversation slows down, my wife starts to give me these funny grins as if to say "Now what?". Now, my answer is to whip out Wii Bowling to keep the men and kids happy, while the wives go in the other room and talk about feelings, relationships, and diapers. Works like a charm.
