Adventures of Lolo better than Tetris/ Rampart/ Columns/ Klax?
The "Lolo" games are nowhere near the best games in the series. As for the falling blocks games, while I do like them, I never considered them so awesome I'd actually pay full price for them. Meh.
Ice Hockey better on the 2600 than the NES?
Yes. Though they are both incredibly awesome games.
And Myst is awesome.

1) Ocarina Of Time - N64
2) Lords Of Midnight - ZX Spectrum
Big gap
3) Secret Of Monkey Island - Amiga
Big gap
4) Loads of other games.
Those top two games, for me, are just amazing. Brilliant stories, atmosphere, graphics. I still play Lords Of Midnight 23 years on, and it still blows me away.

Best Ninja Game- Shadow Dancer
Best Atmosphere- GTA: Vice City (Finally, I can place it somewhere.)

Best Story- Final Fantasy VII
Best Diolauge- Conker
Best Game I First Experienced In the Year 2007: (4 way tie between 3 amazing X360 games (I got Gears of War for X-Mas 2006, so I doesn't count.), and a PS2 game: F.E.A.R., Marvel: Ultimate Alliance, Def Jam Icon, and God of War II
Game I Like Way More Than I Should: 50 Cent: Bulletproof.

I think a 'best game' (for consoles, not counting PC games since VideoGameCritic doesn't) has to have the following:
-Awesome single player experience.
-Awesome multiplayer experience.
-Gameplay is intuitive (almost anyone can pick it up)
-Game is friendly to all demographics (from girls, to kids, to young males)
-Gameplay can be hard to master. Meaning you can play it forever and still get better. It is skills based.
-The game is immediately engrossing first time you play it.
-The game never ages. It is still highly playable over a decade from now.
Only one console game fits this description, the closest thing to 'perfection' as to what a console game ought to be.
Super Mario Kart (SNES)

Best Games Ever:
Tetris
PacMan
Spy Hunter
Galaga
Super Mario Bros.
Asteroids (It was going to be an Honorable Mention, but is just too good to group with those others)
Honorable Mention:
Space Invaders (Everybody loves it but me)
Pong (because it's the grand-daddy of 'em all)
Missile Command (Cold-War goodness cloaked in a sci-fi backstory)
Contra (Almost good enough to group with the "best ever." Say it with me, now, folks: up up down down left right left right b a start!)

I like Mario Kart 64 and Double Dash tons better than the Super Mario Kart. Am I wrong for this? Probably.
