Puss N Boots means "a cat wearing boots". If the game is about that character I don't see how that could be a bad game name. It's just a name that hasn't held up well over time.

Yep, I'll give ya the cartridge is whack, a. Have you seen Shrek 2? They kinda gave Puss N Boots new life and made him as cool as possible... for whatever that is worth.

Also, I lived through the era of boring GENERIC titles....
"Tennis", "Moon landing", "Space shoot", "Tank battle"...
YAWWWWN! How did titles like these SELL!?

Can't forget "ATTACK OF THE BEEFSTEAK TOMATOES" for the 2600.

Attack of the Killer Tomatoes was one of my favorite movies when I was about five years old.  I love watching B-movies, especially with loudmouthed sarcastic friends.  That one is still one of my favorite B-movies ever.

Somehow I've never heard of that game though.  They almost HAVE to be related.

I Agree with you that Revenge of the KILLER Tomatoes was a hillariously funny movie (I can still hear that song in my head A..TACKKKK of the killer TooomaTOESSS!)...But "Revenge of the Beefsteak Tomatoes" was a funny idea turned into a bad game. It is a cave-man game. Brick fly. Grab colored brick. Shoot at same colored wall to wall in tomato plants. Dodge big killer tomato.
Do again for other two walls. Do again. Again. Again. Oh, you lose life? No worry, you have INFINITE lives you never lose! HAHAHA...BoRRRRRRing! -too bad too, it could have been funny!
I loved the box art, but this is just another 20th century fox games loser (like the awful M*A*S*H )

Naw, just my failed attempt at being funny.  I wasn't really disagreeing, I just have this nasty habit of relaying with people like we're playing intellectual pong.  Every now and then I throw English on the ball and people mistake it for anger.  I assure you that you have done nothing to upset me

Sort of like meeting a hottie by the name of Rosie O' Donnel.

I would probably insist on using a nickname, just to avoid unfortunate mental images.
