one more shopping question - GC with no controller

Thanks for the responses to my questions - they are definitely helpful as I hopefully gear up for some gaming during an upcoming bout of free time.
Actually, this one is for my nephew. Is $28 for a gamecube without a controller or mem card but otherwise O.K. a good price? I will have to buy the other stuff off ebay....
