So I recently picked up a as new GBA SP with Mario Kart, Bubble Bobble and Castlevania Circle of the Moon for £25 which I'm pretty chuffed with as they still retail at £70 over here.  Anyway I'm new to the whole GBA scene.  Does anyone have any links to the good GBA themed fansites and communities?  I believe there are some home brew efforts for it? Cheers for any help.

Have you checked out my Game Boy Advance section?  It's on the right side of the main page.  You may want to investigate a nice title called Qwak which originated on your side of the pond.

I am really on a GBA frenzy right now, as well, since I havn't been especially intested in any new DS stuff, and I'm glad, because I am beginning to think that the GBA is the best console for 2d stuff out there!  I went nuts with Pirates of the Carribean: Dead Man's Chest for months, and now I am absolutely immersed in Metroid Fusion.  This game is SO well made and has really interesting plot stuff going on that caught me off guard.  EXCELLENT game!

Allow me to recommend a few excellent arcade ports: Street Fighter II: Turbo Revival, Final Fight One, and Metal Slug Advance. Also, the 2D Metroids are fantastic.
